Louise is the driving force behind Louise Collinson Equine Rehabilitation (LCER). Having previously set up and run various yards in Europe and the USA and latterly designed, set up and managed Longholes Rehabilitation Facility for Sheikh Fahad Al Thani, she brings over 25 years' experience working in the Equine Rehabilitation Industry and has a very well-respected reputation. Louise has a wealth of experience having ridden over fences, she also evented in the USA on many horses from the racetrack that she reschooled or rehabilitated. Louise has travelled globally gaining experience with different therapy equipment. She holds a Degree in Physiotherapy and is an Equine Iridologist. She has also prepared yearlings for all the major sales in England, Europe and the USA including Breeze-Ups. Louise has gained experience in stud work, including young stock and been responsible for medicines and treatments allowing her to work alongside some of the finest Farriers, Vets and Physio's.
Having also spent several years working alongside bloodstock advisers selecting stock from the sales, combining this with her expertise in breaking in, pre training, eventing and rehabilitation, her knowledge and passion is immense.
Louise today works closely with some of the worlds leading figures and sportsmen, and values the opinion of other professionals with the aim to achieve the very best for her clients.
From her team and clients view Louise's passion for the health, well being and recovery of all horses is second to none.
Qualified with a Degree in Equine Science, Megan's been Head Girl at prestigious pre training and eventing yards after continuing her career with Louise many years ago and has since become a founding member of the team at LCER. Megan has many years of experience in working with all our therapy equipment, she has competed successfully in dressage and holds invaluable experience in schooling horses both under tack and from the ground. Megan's genuine passion and empathy for rehabilitating horses is unquestionable. Megan is a huge asset to the team and combines her role on the yard along with family life.
Charlie is a competent and sympathetic rider who competes at BE level with his own horse. He brings youth and enthusiasm to the team and has a genuine passion for the schooling of horses from all spheres.
Lily left University in 2018 becoming an Equine Sports Therapist BSc (Hons) as well as an Equinology Equine Bodyworker. Her knowledge is current and up to date adding a fresh approach to Equine Therapy and is a great asset to the team and a very competent rider.
