Set in the heart of rural Suffolk and within easy reach of the adjacent Counties our site is equipped with the latest in technology therapy machines operated by highly qualified and experienced staff. The tranquil setting and superb off road hacking provides an ideal environment to give the horse the best chance of recovery or an ideal start in the formative years.

ALL OUR THERAPY EQUIPMENT COMBINED WITH A BESPOKE TREATMENT PROGRAMME IS ALSO AVAILABLE FOR NON BOARDING HORSES.

REHABILITATION

The practice of equine rehabilitation aims at promoting expertise in the structural, physiological, medical and surgical needs of athletic equines and the restoration of normal form and function after injury or illness as well as working with horses with behavioural issues.

LCER can provide the ideal environment to aid a horses rehabilitation and recovery following injury or post surgery . We can also offer a fresh approach to their training regimen proving beneficial to horses sour or disillusioned in their work

Using state of the art facilities each horse is treated to a bespoke care and exercise programme delivered by an experienced and dedicated team.

RIDDEN / CONDITIONING

A key part of every horses career is its breaking and pre-training be it a race or sport horse. Our staff use their many years experience and the facilities available to ensure each horse is given the best possible start to their career. We start with lunging and long reining before progressing to ridden work on a range of surfaces and gallops.

The first four weeks of pre-training the horse will slowly build up their fitness and muscle tone, help strengthen tendons and ligaments and also increase bone density.

Non boarding / Walk In Service

At LCER we can offer a comprehensive walk in service for all our therapy equipment.

We can work closely with your Veterinary Surgeon prior to designing a bespoke programme based on injury and/or fitness level. Regular assessments will be made enabling us to adapt the programme accordingly as indicated by progress.

The use of therapy equipment is recognised by most Insurers subject to the policy terms.

Our ultimate goal is to help the horse return to an athletic career or improve the general way of going.
